Do you believe in the power of gaming your various options before going into battle with your competition, always reminding yourself that in business, there are no do-overs?

If so, join Wisconsin's SCIP chapter on Thursday, May 17th for a highly interactive, team-oriented Business War gaming workshop held at the friendly confines of Green Bay's Lambeau Field. Our workshop leader, Tim Smith from Kappa West, will:

• Introduce the general concepts and processes of Business War Gaming
• Discuss how War Gaming can help broad ranges of companies increase their strategic effectiveness and tactical efficiency using these military concepts, principles and planning processes.
• Provide background on a real world scenario
• Facilitate a short war gaming session where we test each team's critical decisions

1. An understanding of what it takes to design, develop and facilitate a business war game.
2. An introduction to a process that allows you to proactively anticipate changes in your competitor's behavior (both direct and indirect) under select market scenarios.

About the Speaker

As the Vice President of Kappa West, Tim Smith is responsible for managing client relationships and has been a frequent speaker at a variety of business events. Tim is responsible for designing and facilitating business war games, as well as strategic and operational level planning workshops for clients. Tim is a graduate of University of California, Riverside and holds a MBA from Claremont (Drucker School of Management) and a JD from Loyola Law School (CA).
